Dxo lab 4 review7/8/2023 ![]() Maybe I've misunderstood what you mean, and I'm really curious. I should have screen shot some examples but in the end, I deleted DxO and will stick with Adobe RAW. I was excited at first as the preview within the DxO product even at 100% looks great but bringing it as any type of file available into Photoshop does not do it any favors. But, this is the first time I've ever encountered an issue that might be related.ĭxO PL4 runs fine while Prime95 is active - no issues at all with speed. It uses about 25% of my total CPU resources (Intel i9-9900K) and a couple GB of memory, so the full CPU was not available during the install. To be fair, and full disclosure, I run the GIMPS Prime95 in the background, doing a real prime number search, not a stress test, all the time. ![]() I have my doubts about the quality of PL4. Thanks for the warning I've been happy with 4.0.1, so I won't update yet. After a reboot (to be safe) and a retry, it had another hang ("Installer has stopped responding") but then proceeded finally to a normal end. Following up: the install of the update seemed to be buggy, hanging near the beginning and requiring a 'retry' to a prompt saying the installer had stopped responding, then another hang that required the installer to be killed from the task manager.
